BROOKLYN PARK MN: A 21-year-old man is facing multiple felony charges in Hennepin County District Court following allegations of criminal sexual conduct involving two victims under the age of 14.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Hennepin County, Leandro Antonio Sanchez Carrasco was charged with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. Prosecutors allege the offenses occurred between April 7, 2025, and September 25, 2026.
The charges involve two minors, identified in court documents as Victim 1 and Victim 2. Under Minnesota law, first-degree criminal sexual conduct carries a maximum penalty of up to 30 years in prison, fines of up to $40,000, and mandatory conditional release. Each count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct carries a statutory maximum of up to 25 years in prison and fines of up to $35,000.
As with all criminal matters, a complaint contains allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
