EAGAN, MINNESOTA - A single-vehicle rollover crash prompted an emergency response late Monday afternoon along I-35E in Eagan, resulting in significant traffic delays in the area.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, troopers were dispatched at approximately 4:51 p.m. to the area of southbound I-35E near Pilot Knob Road. Preliminary information indicates a pickup truck was traveling northbound on I-35E when it left the roadway, entered the center median, and then rolled multiple times before coming to rest in the middle lane of southbound I-35E between Pilot Knob Road and Duckwood Drive. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Eagan Police Department, Eagan Fire Department, MHealth Medics, and MnDOT, which assists with traffic management and roadway safety during incidents.
