Crash on I-694 in Fridley Under Investigation; No Injuries Reported
FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA—Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that occurred around noon on Thursday, July 3, 2025, along westbound I-694 near Main Street in Fridley.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, two passenger vehicles collided while traveling westbound, triggering a secondary crash involving a semi-truck and trailer. Despite the involvement of multiple vehicles, no injuries were reported. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, but officials confirmed it was for an unrelated medical matter and not connected to the crash.
The incident caused temporary traffic disruptions in the area as Minnesota State Troopers, medics, and Fridley Police worked to manage the scene and investigate the circumstances surrounding the collisions.
