Four People Transported After Two-Vehicle Crash at U.S. Highway 61 and Point Douglas Drive

HASTINGS, MINNESOTA - Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle crash Monday evening that left several people with minor injuries.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the collision occurred around 8:35 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the uncontrolled intersection of Highway 61 and Point Douglas Drive in Hastings. The preliminary investigation indicates that a vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 61 while a second vehicle was heading westbound on Point Douglas Drive when the two vehicles collided in the intersection.

The first vehicle was carrying four occupants, three of whom were transported to Regions Hospital with minor injuries. The sole occupant of the second vehicle was also transported to Regions Hospital with minor injuries.

Hastings Fire Department, Hastings Police Department, Allina Health, Prescott Emergency Services, Cottage Grove Sheriff’s Department, and the Minnesota State Patrol all responded to the scene.

The Minnesota State Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
