Motorcyclist Injured in Burnsville Crash on I-35 Off-Ramp Near Crystal Lake Road

BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA – Around 7:25 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in the area of northbound I-35 on the off-ramp for Crystal Lake Road in Burnsville.

According to officials with the Minnesota State Patrol, the male driver lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the grassy median between the interstate and the Crystal Lake Road exit. The impact separated the rider from his motorcycle. The driver was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) with non-life-threatening injuries and is currently receiving treatment.

The Minnesota State Patrol is leading the investigation into the cause of the crash. Burnsville Police and Burnsville Fire Department also assisted at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that the investigation remains open at this time.
