Jake Lang Arrested Near Minneapolis City Hall on Probable Cause Riot

MINNEAPOLIS : Far-right activist Jake Lang was arrested Saturday near Minneapolis City Hall after police say two vehicles carrying Lang and others drove onto the sidewalk toward a crowd gathered outside the building.

According to a statement from the Minneapolis Police Department, Lang arrived near City Hall with several other people in two vehicles at approximately 11:50 a.m.

Police say both vehicles then drove onto the sidewalk in front of City Hall toward a crowd of people who had gathered in the area.

MPD officers intervened, and law enforcement partners later arrested all occupants of the vehicles, including Lang, on probable cause riot, according to MPD. Both vehicles were impounded.

Lang has previously organized demonstrations in Minneapolis that drew hundreds of counter-protesters.
