Lakeville Man Charged With First-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct

LAKEVILLE MN: — A 22-year-old Lakeville man is facing a felony charge after prosecutors accused him of sexually abusing a child earlier this summer.
Juan Pablo Flores Bravo, born May 22, 2004, has been formally charged in Dakota County District Court with one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a victim under 14 years of age.
According to the criminal complaint filed by local law enforcement, the alleged offenses occurred between June 1, 2026, and July 30, 2026, within Dakota County. Investigators allege that Flores Bravo engaged in illegal sexual penetration or contact with a 9-year-old boy. Under Minnesota state statute, first-degree criminal sexual conduct applies when an actor is at least 36 months older than a victim who is under the age of 14.
If convicted under Minnesota Statute 609.342, Flores Bravo faces a potential statutory maximum penalty of 12 to 30 years in prison, along with fines ranging from $12,000 to $40,000.
As with all criminal proceedings, the charge against Flores Bravo represents an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
