Sunday Police Activity on Brutus Drive Stemmed From Ramsey County Weapons Call

LAKEVILLE, MN: A police response Sunday afternoon in a manufactured home community in Lakeville initially centered on a possible weapons-related call, but authorities later determined the Lakeville residence was not involved in the incident under investigation. The activity occurred Sunday, September 13, 2026, in the 300 block of Brutus Drive and prompted a response from the Lakeville Police Department.
According to Lakeville Police, officers were called to the area in response to a possible weapons call believed at the time to be associated with a residence in the manufactured home community. Police conducted additional investigation and follow-up and ultimately determined the residence was not connected to the incident.
“After some additional investigation and follow-up, the residence was determined to not be involved, and there was no further involvement by Lakeville PD,” the department told Limitless Media.
Lakeville Police said the original call came through the Ramsey County Emergency Communications Center. Once officers determined the Lakeville residence was not involved, Lakeville Police had no further involvement in the incident.
The department did not have additional information about the circumstances of the original call or its eventual outcome in Ramsey County, since it originated there. Limitless Media also contacted the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office seeking additional information. Based on the information available, the Sheriff's Office could not locate additional information about the incident.
It remains unclear what circumstances initially led authorities to believe the reported weapons call could be associated with the Brutus Drive residence, as well as where in Ramsey County the underlying incident occurred or how it was ultimately resolved.
