Minneapolis Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Person of Interest in June Stabbing

MINNEAPOLIS MN — Minneapolis police are asking for the public’s help identifying a person of interest who may be connected to a June stabbing near Hennepin and Lagoon avenues.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers responded to the area at approximately 9 p.m. on June 16 after an argument between women reportedly escalated and one woman was stabbed.
Investigators are now seeking to identify a person pictured in images released by the department. Police described the individual as a person of interest and have not publicly alleged that the person committed the stabbing.
Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information about what happened is asked to contact Minneapolis police. The department said even information that may appear insignificant could assist investigators.

The investigation remains ongoing.
