SAINT PAUL - The Saint Paul Police Department has issued a public safety alert asking for assistance locating a 27-year-old man wanted in connection with an alleged kidnapping and burglary incident Thursday morning.
According to police, officers responded to the 700 block of Como Avenue at approximately 9:10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, after receiving a report that an adult male suspect attempted to pull an adult woman out of her apartment through a window.
Police identified the suspect as Eduart Gomez Ochoa, 27, and said an arrest warrant has been issued in connection with the incident.
Gomez Ochoa was previously charged by the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office with second-degree criminal sexual conduct and burglary following a separate incident on May 7, 2026.
In that case, prosecutors alleged that Gomez Ochoa broke into an apartment in the 1500 block of Westminster Street and sexually assaulted a female minor.
Authorities are now asking for the public's assistance in locating Gomez Ochoa.
Anyone who sees Gomez Ochoa or has information about his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately. Police warn the public not to approach or attempt to confront him.
