ROSEMOUNT, MINNESOTA - Emergency crews responded Tuesday afternoon, August 20, 2025, to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 150th Street West and Shannon Parkway in Rosemount. The collision occurred around 3:50 p.m. and brought a multi-agency response, including Rosemount Police, Rosemount Fire, M Health Paramedics, and Burnsville Paramedics.
Incident Details
Upon arrival, first responders located two heavily damaged vehicles:
Vehicle 1: A Toyota carrying four occupants sustained severe front and left-side damage. The driver and one passenger reported minor pain. Both were evaluated at the scene by medics and cleared without hospital transport.
Vehicle 2: A Ford sustained significant front-end damage. Paramedics assessed the driver and also cleared on scene.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
Investigation and Cause
Rosemount Police conducted the crash investigation, speaking with both drivers and multiple witnesses. Authorities determined that the driver of the Toyota (Vehicle 1) failed to stop for a red light and did not yield to oncoming traffic. That driver was cited at the scene for the violation.
