One Found Dead Near Railroad Tracks in St. Paul, Police Investigating Homicide

SAINT PAUL MN: St. Paul police are investigating after a man was found deceased Monday morning near railroad tracks on the city’s East Side with what authorities described as apparent edged weapon injuries.
According to the St. Paul Police Department, officers were called just after 11 a.m. on May 25 after a passerby reported seeing a male laying between railroad tracks near the 1400 block of Case Avenue.
Responding officers located an adult male who appeared to have suffered injuries caused by an edged weapon. St. Paul Fire medics responded to the scene and pronounced the man dead.
Police said the victim was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office, where an autopsy will be conducted to positively identify the man and determine his exact cause of death.
Investigators, along with the department’s Forensic Services and Video Management Units, are processing the scene and working to determine what led to the incident and who may be responsible.
Authorities said additional information and updates on the case will be released through the St. Paul Police Department’s social media accounts.
This marks the fifth homicide of 2026 in St. Paul.
