SAINT PAUL MN: — A homicide investigation is underway after a fatal shooting in downtown Saint Paul.

According to the Saint Paul Police Department, officers responded to the 200 block of 7th Street East for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they located one person who was deceased at the scene.

Police have not yet released additional details about the victim or any potential suspect.
