Driver Cited After Rollover Crash Scene in Sunfish Lake

SUNFISH LAKE, MN: Authorities cited a 46-year-old Inver Grove Heights man after a single-vehicle rollover crash Saturday morning, September 26, 2026, in Sunfish Lake.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, troopers responded at approximately 8:13 a.m. to the crash on Highway 3, also known as Robert Trail, near Salem Church Road. The Minnesota State Patrol said a Hyundai Tucson driven by a 46-year-old from Inver Grove Heights was traveling on Highway 3 when it struck multiple road signs before rolling.
After the crash, the man, the vehicle's sole occupant, reportedly got out and fled the scene. A Minnesota State Patrol trooper apprehended him nearby, and officers detained him briefly while they investigated the crash. Minnesota State Patrol reports the man sustained minor injuries in the crash but was not transported by emergency medical services. According to comments from the man's family, they claim that the crash was caused by a medical issue; Limitless Media News has not been able to independently verify that.
The driver was issued citations for driving after revocation, failing to exercise due care, and not having proof of insurance. Investigators are still investigating the cause of the crash. No additional injuries were reported.
