Three-Vehicle Crash on I-35E in Eagan Sends One to Hospital
EAGAN, MINNESOTA – A three-vehicle crash on northbound I-35E just south of Lone Oak Road resulted in one person being transported to the hospital with injuries on Tuesday evening, July 15, 2025.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, troopers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 5:30 p.m. after a Buick, Subaru Crosstrek, and Subaru Impreza were involved in a rear-end collision. The driver of the Crosstrek sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
One of the drivers involved was cited for failure to drive with due care. The specific details leading to the collision remain under investigation.
Emergency crews from Eagan Fire and Eagan Police, along with the Minnesota Department of Transportation’s FIRST program, also responded to the scene with the State Patrol. The crash caused some delays in the northbound lanes as the middle and right lanes were blocked due to the crash, as responders worked to clear the roadway and assist those involved.
The Minnesota State Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
