Law enforcement has issued an Amber Alert and is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 2-year-old boy from the city of Westport, MN.

Between 12:30-1:00 AM on March 17, 2022, several people across the south side of Minneapolis, MN reported hearing a very loud explosion-like sound.

Around 1:32 PM on March 9, 2022, a call came out for a fire at Valmont - Applied Coating Technology in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. Two separate calls came in from people driving by both reporting the building was showing heavy black smoke coming from a smokestack on the top of the building.

Just after 11:00 AM on March 3, 2022, a multi-vehicle crash was reported on I-35 northbound near Hwy 11. At this time information is very limited as it is still developing, but what we can report as I-35 is closed at Exit 90.

Just after 5 PM this evening, the Minneapolis FBI confirmed they had found the young woman, identified as 30-year-old Azaria McKenzy Sandifer, who was kidnapped around 12:15 PM on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at gunpoint. The suspect who kidnapped her is identified as Derrick Jonathan Fasig, 27-years-old.

Just after 1:15 PM, a welfare check was called in at the Eagan Promenade. There was reported to be a dark-colored Nissan parked at the back of the lot that was running with a male in the driver's seat slumped over the steering wheel.
