Mendota Heights Police Search for Missing 89-Year-Old Man Last Seen Wednesday

MENDOTA HEIGHTS: The Mendota Heights Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating Edward Hanton, an 89-year-old man who has been missing since Wednesday afternoon.

Police held a press conference Friday to provide an update on the search and continue asking the public for assistance in locating Hanton.

According to police, Hanton left his home in the 1200 block of Aspen Way in Mendota Heights at approximately 3 p.m. on July 22. Investigators believe he was in the Danbury, Wisconsin, area around 5:30 p.m. that same day.

Hanton is described as:

  • 89 years old

  • 5 feet, 6 inches tall

  • Approximately 150 pounds

  • Bald

He was last seen wearing:

  • A light blue plaid flannel shirt

  • A dark blue jacket

  • Jeans

  • Brown loafers

Police say he is believed to be driving a green 2012 Honda CR-V with Minnesota license plate PSH740.
