Brooklyn Park man charged with felony criminal sexual conduct after alleged incident at St. Louis Park group home

St. Louis Park: A Brooklyn Park man has been charged with felony fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct after an alleged incident at a group home in St. Louis Park, according to a criminal complaint.

According to a criminal complaint filed in Hennepin County District Court, Kareem Chauncy Haleem is charged with one count of fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct involving nonconsensual sexual penetration.

The complaint alleges the offense occurred on or about May 6 in Hennepin County.

Court records state the alleged incident occurred at a group home in St. Louis Park.

Haleem, whose listed residence is in Brooklyn Park, is accused of engaging in nonconsensual sexual penetration with another person, according to the complaint.

The felony charge carries a maximum penalty of two years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Charges are allegations, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
