EAGAN MN: An apparent road rage incident on Interstate 35E in Eagan escalated into gunfire Saturday evening, leaving one vehicle damaged but no reported injuries.

According to the Eagan Police Department, officers and the Minnesota State Patrol responded at approximately 5:16 p.m. on July 11 to a report of a road rage incident on northbound Interstate 35E near Deerwood Drive.

Police say that during the confrontation, one of the drivers fired multiple rounds from a firearm at the other vehicle. Although no one inside the targeted vehicle was struck, the vehicle was hit by gunfire and sustained damage.
