Pedestrian Killed in Suspected Hit-and-Run Crash in Eagan

EAGAN MN: A 40-year-old woman has died after being struck in a suspected hit-and-run crash early Saturday morning in Eagan.

According to the Eagan Police Department, officers and the Minnesota State Patrol responded around 1:59 a.m. on March 7 to a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at the intersection of Cliff Road and Nicols Road.

When first responders arrived, they found the woman unconscious and not breathing. She was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Investigators say the driver involved left the scene before officers arrived and has not yet been located.

Authorities believe the suspect vehicle may be a white 2021–2022 Honda HR-V or Honda Civic. The vehicle is expected to have significant damage to the front passenger side.

The crash remains under active investigation.
