FBI, Federal Partners Execute Twin Cities Warrants Linked to Violent Drug Trafficking Organization

TWIN CITIES MN: The FBI, alongside federal and local law enforcement partners, executed multiple search and arrest warrants across the Twin Cities metro early Wednesday morning in connection with a violent drug trafficking organization.
Authorities confirmed the coordinated operation is ongoing and said additional details will be released later today.
Residents in West St. Paul reported unusual activity before sunrise. An airplane was observed circling above the area for a period of time, drawing attention from early risers. In the Harmon neighborhood, neighbors also reported seeing SWAT vehicles staged in the area.
Law enforcement has emphasized that there is no known threat to public safety related to the operation.
It is not yet clear how many warrants were served or how many individuals may be in custody. Officials say more information will be shared as it becomes available.
