Four-Vehicle Crash on Highway 13 in Burnsville Sends Two to Hospital

BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA – Emergency responders were called to a four-vehicle crash Monday afternoon that resulted in two people being transported for possible injuries.

The incident occurred on November 17, 2025, at approximately 12:06 p.m. in the area of westbound Highway 13 and Diffley Road/Cedar Bridge. According to initial reports from the Minnesota State Patrol, three vehicles were stopped at a red light when another driver, believed to be experiencing a medical emergency, rear-ended one of the vehicles, triggering a chain-reaction crash involving all four.

Burnsville Fire, Burnsville Police, Minnesota State Patrol, M Health ambulance crews, and MnDOT personnel responded to the scene. First responders worked to assess injuries, manage traffic impacts, and clear the roadway.

Two individuals were transported from the crash site for evaluation of possible injuries. The full extent of those injuries has not yet been released.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the crash. Traffic was temporarily reduced to one lane while crews cleared the vehicles and debris.
