Two Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash Friday Afternoon on Highway 55 in Eagan

EAGAN, MINNESOTA – A two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon sent two people to the hospital and caused traffic delays near a busy Eagan intersection, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The crash happened at 2:34 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, in the area of Highway 55 and Eagandale Boulevard, prompting a multi-agency emergency response from Eagan Fire, Eagan Police, the Minnesota State Patrol, and MHealth medics.

Crash Details

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Toyota 4Runner traveling eastbound on Highway 55 struck a Jeep Cherokee that was turning from northbound Eagandale Boulevard onto westbound Highway 55. The impact caused significant damage to both vehicles and left two occupants inside the Jeep with minor injuries.

MHealth medics transported both individuals to a local hospital for evaluation. The driver of the Toyota 4Runner was not reported to be injured.

Emergency crews arrived quickly to secure the scene, assess injuries, and manage traffic in the area. Portions of Highway 55 and the Eagandale intersection experienced temporary delays as responders worked to clear debris and investigate the circumstances of the crash.
