EAGAN, MINNESOTA – A three-vehicle crash on Wednesday evening led to significant traffic delays and sent multiple people to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The crash occurred around 5:10 p.m. on November 19, 2025, near the intersection of Highway 13 and Meadow View Drive, prompting a significant emergency response from Eagan Fire, Eagan Police, the Minnesota State Patrol, and MHealth medics.
Crash Details
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident began when a Lexus traveling eastbound on Highway 13 collided with a Hyundai that was in the process of turning from eastbound Highway 13 onto northbound Meadow View Drive. The force of that collision pushed the Hyundai into the path of a westbound Ford, resulting in a second impact. The Lexus and the Hyundai were left blocking the north and south lanes of Highway 13, while the Ford was reported to have been pushed into the Stericycle parking lot to the west of Highway 13.
The driver of the Hyundai and both occupants of the Ford suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were evaluated and transported by MHealth medics. The driver of the Lexus was not reported to be injured.
Traffic Impact
The crash caused extensive backups during the evening commute. As previously stated, both directions of Highway 13 were blocked, and traffic was diverted around the scene via Meadowview Drive while first responders treated patients, investigated the crash, and cleared debris.
Crews remained on scene for an extended period before reopening the roadway.
Investigation
The Minnesota State Patrol is continuing to investigate the contributing factors in the crash. No additional information has been released regarding potential citations or impairment.
