Juvenile Seriously Injured After Being Trapped Under Vehicle in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA - A juvenile suffered serious injuries Thursday afternoon after an incident involving a vehicle in a residential area of Apple Valley.
Apple Valley firefighters, police officers and Allina Health medics were dispatched at approximately 2:40 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2026, to the 13000 block of Guild Avenue for a reported crash involving a juvenile underneath a vehicle. Emergency responders arrived and were able to get the juvenile out from underneath the vehicle. The juvenile was reported to have suffered serious injuries. Additional information regarding the extent of those injuries or where the juvenile was transported was not immediately available.
From witness accounts at the scene, Limitless Media News learned that the juvenile became stuck underneath the vehicle after it allegedly began rolling backward out of a driveway. The official circumstances leading up to the incident remain under investigation, and authorities have not yet released information explaining how the juvenile came to be underneath the vehicle or the juvenile's condition.
The Minnesota State Patrol was called to the scene to assist with crash reconstruction as investigators worked to determine what occurred. The Apple Valley Police Department is the lead agency investigating the incident, with the State Patrol assisting.
