MINNESOTA: Law enforcement agencies across Minnesota are mourning the death of Minnesota State Patrol Lieutenant Tyler Uthe, a respected public servant remembered for his dedication to protecting and serving others.

The Rosemount Police Department announced Uthe's passing in a statement, expressing condolences to his family, friends and colleagues within the Minnesota State Patrol.

"Tyler's dedication to public service and commitment to protecting others made a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of serving alongside him," the department said.

Uthe spent his career serving the people of Minnesota and earned the respect of fellow law enforcement officers through his leadership, professionalism and commitment to public safety. Colleagues described him as someone who embodied the values of service and sacrifice throughout his career.

The Rosemount Police Department said its thoughts and prayers are with everyone who knew and loved Uthe during this difficult time.
