Three-Vehicle Crash in Rosemount Leaves Multiple People with Minor Injuries
ROSEMOUNT, MINNESOTA – Emergency crews from multiple agencies responded Monday morning to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 3 and Biscayne Avenue in Rosemount. The crash occurred at approximately 7:36 a.m., prompting a joint response from the Minnesota State Patrol, Rosemount Police Department, Rosemount Fire Department, M Health Medics, and Allina Medics.
According to initial reports from the Minnesota State Patrol, a Toyota RAV4 and another SUV were traveling southbound on Highway 3 when the vehicles collided in a rear-end-style crash. The force of that impact pushed the SUV across lanes, where it struck a Metro Mobility bus that was parked on the northbound shoulder of the highway (the second crash). At the time of the second crash, the bus driver was outside the vehicle, assisting a passenger who was boarding the bus.
