St. Paul Police Chief Sues Mayor, Alleging Sexual Harassment and Retaliation

SAINT PAUL MN - St. Paul Police Chief Axel Henry filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the City of St. Paul and Mayor Kaohly Her, alleging the mayor sexually harassed St. Paul Police Department employees, including Henry, and that he faced retaliation after reporting the alleged conduct.
The civil case was filed Sept. 23 in Ramsey County District Court under case number 62-CV-26-6829. Minnesota court records are available through the state judiciary’s MCRO system.
According to a civil cover sheet filed in the case, Henry alleges that after he reported the alleged misconduct, Her and her administration retaliated against him rather than addressing his concerns.
The filing states that Henry is represented by attorney Christopher W. Madel.
