19-Year-Old Shot Near Mackubin Street And Front Avenue In St. Paul

SAINT PAUL MN: A 19-year-old man was injured in a shooting late Friday night in St. Paul, according to the St. Paul Police Department.

Police said officers were called at approximately 11:47 p.m. on May 15 to the intersection of Mackubin Street and Front Avenue on multiple reports of shots fired.

Shortly after officers were dispatched, a 19-year-old male arrived at Regions Hospital in a private vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. Investigators later determined the shooting occurred near the same intersection where the shots-fired calls originated.

The victim’s condition has not been released.

St. Paul police said investigators are asking for the public’s help as they continue investigating the shooting.

“Someone out there knows about this shooting, and we’re hoping they will speak to investigators,” the department said in a public statement.
