Three-Vehicle Crash Involving Ambulance Reported on I-35 in Lakeville

LAKEVILLE, MINNESOTA - Minnesota State Patrol troopers responded late Friday night to a three-vehicle crash involving an ambulance on southbound I-35 near 162nd Street in Lakeville. The incident occurred around 10:02 p.m. on October 17.

According to preliminary information from the Minnesota State Patrol, all three vehicles were traveling southbound on I-35 when the crash took place. Investigators say an SUV and an ambulance initially collided, causing both vehicles to lose control. The impact led to a secondary collision between the SUV and a nearby passenger car.

Despite the multi-vehicle nature of the crash, authorities confirmed that there were no injuries reported among those involved.

Minnesota State Patrol, Lakeville Police, Lakeville Fire Department, and Allina EMS all responded to the incident. The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash remains under investigation as they work to determine the sequence of events and contributing factors.
