WOODBURY: Residents are encouraged to show their support for veterans and wounded service members as the Wounded Warrior Project bike ride travels through Woodbury on Saturday, July 25.

The ride is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. from the Woodbury Veterans Memorial at Woodbury City Hall. Cyclists will follow a designated route through the city at a traditional pace of approximately 10 mph, giving community members plenty of opportunities to line the route and cheer on participants.

According to Woodbury Public Safety, police, fire and EMS personnel will assist with the event by leading the ride and helping manage traffic along the route to ensure the safety of riders and motorists.

Drivers should expect brief traffic impacts as the group moves through the city and are encouraged to use caution, follow directions from public safety personnel, and be patient while the ride passes.

The annual event honors wounded veterans and raises awareness for the mission of the Wounded Warrior Project, with organizers encouraging residents to come out and show their appreciation for those who have served.

Woodbury Public Safety thanked the community in advance for its cooperation and support during the event.
