A woman is facing multiple criminal charges in Anoka County after authorities allege she attempted to use stolen checks at several retail stores, possessed financial documents belonging to multiple individuals, and initially identified herself to police using another person's name.

The Blaine Police Department says officers recently recovered approximately $3,800 worth of stolen power tools connected to three separate shoplifting incidents at Fleet Farm.

A Anoka County Sheriff's Office overdose investigation in Blaine has led to a third-degree murder charge against a Mounds View woman accused of supplying fentanyl, heroin, and methamphetamine to a Blaine man who later died from an overdose, according to an Anoka County District Court criminal complaint.

Two separate motorcycle pursuits led by Minnesota State Patrol troopers on Friday night, May 23, 2025, ended with arrests after high-speed chases in different parts of the Twin Cities metro area. Both incidents remain under active investigation.
