Local Scouts Launch Annual Christmas Tree Lot at Apple Valley Cub Foods

APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA - Three Apple Valley Scouts BSA troops are teaming up once again to bring a beloved holiday tradition to the community. Troops 205, 293, and 292 announced they will open their annual Christmas Tree Lot at Cub Foods Apple Valley, located at 15350 Cedar Avenue, starting Friday, November 21, 2025.
The tree lot will operate exclusively on weekends through the holiday season, offering families a convenient way to pick out a fresh Christmas tree while supporting local youth programs. Hours of operation are:
Fridays: 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Sundays: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Shoppers will find a wide variety of fresh-cut trees, including Scotch Pine, Balsam Fir, White Pine, and Fraser Fir, with 7-foot trees starting at $65. The lot will also offer fresh garlands and boughs, tree removal bags, and tree stands to help families prepare for the holiday season.
Organizers say the fundraiser is a critical annual effort for the participating troops. Every dollar raised goes directly back into Scouting in Apple Valley, supporting camping trips, leadership training, community service projects, and other outdoor learning experiences.
Residents are encouraged to stop by, pick out their perfect tree, and help support the next generation of local leaders.
