Active Investigation Underway After Reports of Gunfire at Burnsville Apartment Complex

BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA - Burnsville police are investigating a report of gunfire early Monday morning at an apartment complex, with no victims identified and no arrests made as of now.

According to the Burnsville Police Department, officers were dispatched around 1:30 a.m. on April 6, 2026, to the 2000 block of East 121st Street, at the Connelly on Eleven apartment community, following a report of possible gunfire.

Evidence Located, But No Victims Found

When officers arrived on the scene, they located evidence consistent with gunfire. However, authorities say no victims have been identified at this time. Burnsville Fire was also called to the scene, but later canceled after no victims were found.

Investigators have not released details on what type of evidence was found, and it remains unclear how many shots may have been fired or whether any property damage occurred. As of Monday morning, no suspects have been taken into custody. Police have not released any suspect descriptions or indicated whether they believe the incident was targeted.

Despite the presence of gunfire, officials say there is no indication of an ongoing threat to the public.
