SAINT PAUL MN: An adult woman was arrested Sunday morning after a protest disrupted Easter services at Cities Church, according to SPPD.

At approximately 8:35 a.m., St. Paul police officers were working contracted overtime at Cities Church when a group of protesters gathered outside the church during services.

Police said the protesters were using a blow-horn and yelling loudly, which disrupted the service. Officers gave the group multiple announcements instructing them to stop or they could be cited or arrested.

According to police, the majority of the group complied with those instructions.

One adult female did not comply and was arrested. Police said she was taken into custody for interference with religious observance, along with violations of St. Paul City Ordinances 293.02 and 293.07.

No injuries were reported, and no additional arrests were announced. Police said no further information is available at this time.
