Chaska Man Arrested for Suspected DWI Following Late-Night Crash on Highway 13
BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA – Minnesota State Patrol troopers confirmed they responded to a two-vehicle crash late Friday night, October 10, 2025, in Burnsville. The incident occurred around 11:11 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and Nicollet Avenue.
According to the initial reports from the Minnesota State Patrol, the vehicles were involved in a rear-end style collision. Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash, and both vehicles sustained only minor damage.
During the investigation, troopers identified one of the drivers as Fredy Vences Alpizar, a 29-year-old man from Chaska, Minnesota. Troopers arrested Alpizar at the scene on suspicion of driving while impaired (DWI). He was later booked into the Dakota County Jail on charges of 2nd-degree DWI, a gross misdemeanor that typically reflects prior offenses or aggravating factors under Minnesota law.
The Minnesota State Patrol continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash. No further details have been released at this time.
