Fire Crews Respond to Second-Alarm Overnight House Fire on Parkcliff Drive in Eagan

EAGAN, MINNESOTA - Emergency crews from multiple agencies responded early Sunday morning to a residential structure fire in Eagan that was upgraded to a second-alarm fire. According to initial information, the call came in at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2026, for a fire at a single-family home in the 4600 block of Parkcliff Drive. Dispatch reports indicated that all residents were able to safely exit the home before emergency personnel arrived.
Fire Quickly Confirmed, Response Escalates
The first units from Eagan Fire arrived on scene around 12:47 a.m., confirming a working structure fire at the residence. Officials upgraded the incident to a second-alarm fire at approximately 12:53 a.m. Mutual aid was requested from several surrounding departments, including Burnsville Fire, Apple Valley Fire, South Metro Fire, and Inver Grove Heights Fire.
Eagan Police and MHealth Medics also responded to assist with scene safety and traffic control.
Firefighters worked for roughly an hour to bring the blaze under control. The incident was declared under control at approximately 1:43 a.m. All fire crews were cleared the scene by 2:39 am.
