Stolen Vehicle Crashes in Eagan Neighborhood

EAGAN, MINNESOTA - Details are limited at this time, but Eagan Police were reportedly searching for a stolen vehicle that ended in a crash, resulting in a large police presence in a residential neighborhood of Eagan.

According to preliminary information, officers with the Eagan Police Department were responding around 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, to reports of a stolen vehicle within the city. The vehicle was later located, and the situation culminated in a crash around 9:30 p.m. on Eagan Oaks Lane, just off Trails End Road.

Suspects Reportedly Fled on Foot

Following the crash, the occupants of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene on foot, prompting an extensive search effort in the surrounding neighborhood.

Law enforcement agencies from the area responded to assist, and a perimeter was established that stretched south to Wescott Road. The Minnesota State Air Patrol was also called in to assist from the air, providing aerial support as officers searched for the suspects.

While official confirmation is still pending, initial information indicates that at least two individuals may have been taken into custody.
