Two with Minor Injuries Following a Two-Vehicle Crash in Hastings on Thanksgiving Day

HASTINGS, MINNESOTA – Two people were injured Thursday afternoon after a Cadillac and a Jeep collided at a busy Hastings intersection, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The crash occurred on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, at 12:04 p.m. in the area of Highway 61 and County Road 47. Investigators say the Cadillac was traveling southbound on Highway 61 when a northbound Jeep attempted to turn west onto County Road 47. The Jeep failed to yield before entering the intersection, resulting in a two-vehicle crash. Both occupants of the Jeep suffered minor injuries. The driver of the Cadillac was not reported injured.

State Patrol officials say no citations have been issued as the investigation continues. Drivers experienced brief delays as troopers and emergency crews worked to clear the scene. Hastings Police, Hastings Fire, and Minnesota State Patrol all responded to the crash.
