SUV Driver Seriously Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash Involving Semis on Highway 52 in St. Paul

ST. PAUL, MN: A serious three-vehicle crash involving two semi-trucks and an SUV led to a major highway closure Tuesday afternoon in St. Paul, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 2:34 p.m. on April 21, 2026, along northbound Highway 52 just before Plato Boulevard. Emergency responders, including the St. Paul Fire Department and state troopers, were dispatched to the scene following reports of a significant collision.

Crash Details

Preliminary information from the Minnesota State Patrol indicates that two semi-trucks and one SUV were involved in the crash. Authorities have not yet released details on how the collision occurred or the sequence of events leading up to it.

Traffic Impacts
