Two Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash at Highway 55 and Dodd Road in Eagan
EAGAN, MINNESOTA - Eagan Fire, Eagan Police, MHealth and Allina Health Medics, and the Minnesota State troopers responded at 3:29 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025, to a three-vehicle crash at the busy intersection of Highway 55 and Dodd Road in Eagan, leaving two people injured and sending them to area hospitals.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash began when a Subaru traveling southbound on Dodd Road entered the intersection and collided with a Nissan Armada heading east on Highway 55. The force of the collision pushed the Armada into a Nissan truck, which was also traveling eastbound on Highway 55.
The driver of the Armada sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC). A passenger in the Subaru was also hurt and taken to Fairview Southdale Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No injuries were reported from the Nissan truck involved in the chain-reaction crash.
Traffic in the area was impacted as emergency responders worked at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. No additional details have been released at this time.
