Injury Crash Involving Four Vehicles Closes Eastbound McAndrews Road

APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA—Apple Valley police and fire crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash Monday evening that temporarily closed eastbound McAndrews Road and caused significant traffic delays.

At approximately 4:50 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026, first responders were dispatched to the intersection of County Road 11 (140th Street West) and McAndrews Road for reports of a crash involving multiple vehicles and possible injuries. The collision involved four vehicles, with one truck on its side, completely blocking the eastbound lanes of McAndrews Road. At least one individual required extrication from a vehicle. The total number of injured parties and the extent of their injuries have not yet been released.

Due to the crash and emergency response, motorists experienced significant delays in the area as crews treated patients, removed damaged vehicles, and cleared the roadway.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Apple Valley Police Department. Additional information, including contributing factors and any citations, is expected to be released once the investigation is finished.
