TWIN CITIES, MINNESOTA – A powerful tribute to nurses is set to light up parts of the Twin Cities metro for National Nurses Week, with several prominent buildings and landmarks glowing red in honor of the profession’s impact on communities across the country.
The nationwide initiative, led by the American Nurses Association, is part of the campaign “The Power of Nurses™”, which celebrates the essential role nurses play in healthcare systems and everyday life. National Nurses Week runs from May 6 through May 12.

Each location will be illuminated in red as a visible sign of appreciation for nurses and their dedication to patient care.
A Nationwide Tribute
The Twin Cities-area displays are part of a much larger effort, with more than 250 buildings and landmarks across the United States participating in the “Nurses Light Up the Sky” campaign. The initiative aims to recognize the compassion, resilience, and expertise nurses bring to healthcare systems and communities nationwide.
