Scott County man is facing two felony counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct

SCOTT COUNTY MN: A Scott County man is facing two felony counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct involving a child under the age of 14, according to a criminal complaint filed in Scott County District Court.

According to the complaint, Jeffery Gerald Rodning is charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct alleging sexual penetration involving a complainant under 14 years old, where the actor is more than 36 months older than the complainant.

The complaint states the alleged offenses occurred between March 2025 and May 2025 in Scott County.

Each charge carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison and/or a $40,000 fine if convicted.

Defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
