Three Arrested in Connection with Stolen Vehicle at Eagan Retail Lot
EAGAN, MINNESOTA - A stolen vehicle investigation led to the arrest of three individuals Sunday evening, August 3, 2025, in the parking lot of the TJ Maxx in Eagan.
According to the Eagan Police Department, officers were attempting to locate a stolen 2016 Kia Forte that had been reported stolen out of Bloomington on July 28, 2025. Around 6:40 p.m., the vehicle was spotted in the area of Pilot Knob and Yankee Doodle Road near the shopping area. Officers quickly located the vehicle in the TJ Maxx parking lot, and within minutes, officers took three individuals associated with the vehicle into custody without incident.
The driver, identified as Brian Ward Dye, was arrested and transported to the Dakota County Jail. He faces a felony charge for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, in addition to being held on multiple outstanding warrants. Both female passengers in the car were also found to have active warrants and were taken to the Dakota County Jail. Those passengers were identified as Kimberly Marie Walsh and Juanquina Rose Rios.
No injuries were reported during the arrests, and the stolen vehicle was recovered at the scene. The case remains under investigation.
