Wolfpack Retreat Offers At-Home, Cage-Free Dog Boarding in Rosemount

ROSEMOUNT, MINNESOTA: For pet owners looking for a personalized, home-based alternative to traditional kennels, Wolfpack Retreat is offering a local solution near Jaycee Park.
Owned and operated by Monique Macias, Wolfpack Retreat provides dog boarding and daycare services in a family setting, complete with a fully fenced backyard and a cage-free home environment. With more than 20 years of experience caring for animals, Macias says her lifelong passion for animal welfare drives the care she provides.
“As a full-time stay-at-home mom of three, caring for others is part of my everyday life,” Macias said. “Animals have always been a part of my home, and I treat every dog here like they’re my own.”
A Family-Centered, Home Environment
Wolfpack Retreat operates out of Macias’ Rosemount home, where dogs have access to a large, fenced-in backyard for daily exercise and supervised play. Inside, dogs are welcome to roam freely. While three crates are available if needed, the environment is designed to be comfortable and low-stress.
Macias currently cares for two dogs of her own, an 8.5-year-old German Anatolian and an 8-year-old Husky, both described as friendly and accustomed to being around other animals. Because the daycare operates in her private residence, Macias asks prospective clients to respect her privacy by refraining from home tours. Meet-and-greets are welcome but not required.
Experience With Puppies to Seniors
Wolfpack Retreat accepts dogs of all sizes and ages, including puppies and senior dogs. The retreat also welcomes dogs that are not spayed or neutered, though females in heat are not accepted.
Requirements for boarding include:
Dogs must be friendly with other dogs
Dogs must be comfortable around young children
No females in heat
Macias also brings hands-on experience in:
Oral medication administration
Injected medication administration
Senior dog care
Puppy care
Daily exercise is included, along with photo and video updates to help owners stay connected while they’re away.

$35 per night
$25 per night for each additional dog
