Two Drivers Sustain Minor Injuries in Highway 3 Crash in Northfield

NORTHFIELD, MINNESOTA - Around 3:34 PM, Northfield Fire & Rescue and police were called to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 3 at Heritage Drive. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, its Troopers were also called to the scene at approximately 3:40 PM.

According to the State Patrol, a Toyota was turning east onto Heritage Drive from southbound Highway 3 when it collided with a northbound Dodge traveling on the highway. Both drivers sustained minor injuries in the crash but did not require transport to the hospital, which allowed for fire and medics to be canceled from the scene.

The crash closed northbound Highway 3 from Honeylocust to Jefferson Parkway while crews cleared debris and investigated the incident.
