DAKOTA & SCOTT COUNTY, MINNESOTA - Concertgoers attending shows at the new Mystic Lake Amphitheater will have a free and convenient transportation option this summer thanks to a partnership between the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority and Live Nation.

MVTA has announced a free shuttle service connecting three Shakopee park-and-ride locations directly to the amphitheater for select concerts throughout the 2026 concert season. Riders can park for free at participating transit locations and be dropped off and picked up near the amphitheater entrance, helping avoid event traffic and parking congestion.

Three Shakopee Pickup Locations

The free shuttle service will operate from:

  • Eagle Creek Park and Ride — 6600 Eagle Creek Boulevard

  • Marschall Road Transit Station — 1615 Weston Court

  • Southbridge Crossings Park and Ride — 1401 Crossings Boulevard

According to MVTA, buses will begin operating at 5:45 p.m. and run at least every 20 minutes before participating concerts. Service pauses during the concert and resumes immediately after the show. Return service will continue for up to 45 minutes after the concert ends, allowing attendees time to exit the venue and board a shuttle back to their vehicles.

Participating Concerts

MVTA's Mystic Lake Amphitheater shuttle service is currently scheduled for the following concerts:

  • June 20 — "Setting the Stage"

  • June 22 — Machine Gun Kelly

  • June 23 — Dave Matthews Band

  • July 12 — Jack Johnson

  • July 29 — Chris Stapleton

  • July 30 — Chris Stapleton

  • July 31 — Mumford & Sons

  • August 25 — RÜFÜS DU SOL

  • September 24 — Staind

  • September 26 — Pitbull

MVTA notes that additional concert dates may be added as the season progresses.

A New Transportation Option for the Amphitheater

The shuttle program is part of broader efforts to improve access to the new amphitheater, which opened this summer as Minnesota's largest outdoor concert venue. The service offers attendees an alternative to driving directly to the venue while helping reduce congestion around concert nights.
