A 19-year-old St. Paul man has been charged with a felony in Dakota County after authorities allege he attempted to use debit and credit cards belonging to another person at a Walmart store.

The Dakota County Drug Task Force is warning residents after 23 suspected overdoses and two suspected fatal overdoses were reported between May 29 and June 2. Officials believe fentanyl may be present in the local drug supply and are urging residents to carry Narcan and recognize overdose warning signs.

A West St. Paul man is facing a felony charge after authorities allege he fired a handgun into the air outside a Speedway gas station on Robert Street following a dispute inside the store. Investigators later recovered a significant amount of ammunition, multiple firearms and other weapons while executing search warrants at office spaces he rented, according to the criminal complaint.
